Forensic Photography

Forensic Photography

Crime scene investigators evaluate the scene for any evidence related to the crime, but not the whole investigation takes place at the scene, so photography has become a golden tool for solving crimes. Investigators are able to take photos of certain things they may think are important and evaluate them anywhere from their office to their house. It gives them a great advantage also because while clues may be there after the initial crime, they may disappear in some way and if there is no picture then there is no proof.

  1. That's really interesting. I can't believe that it would disappear somehow and how would it?

  3. Is there a specific person assigned to take the photos (like a professional photographer) or does one of the regular crime scene investigators do it?
